Discovery is almost there, the revising, reworking, re-editing and anything else with a pre-fix ‘re’ is finally complete. There is still a little prep work to complete but the relaunch of this title will go ahead as planned, a little later than planned but we’ll get there.
The relaunch of this title has been beset with problems since the outset but like someone once told me, “A problem is only a problem until you find a solution,” The solution to this was simply to carry on, in some cases go back to the beginning, in others to come at it from a different angle. I’m confident enough now to say that we’re almost there, everything else that has to be done is under my control and will get done on time. I have a date in my mind, which I’m working towards but I’m not going to divulge it just yet, I’m going to allow the anticipation to build for a while longer.
Discovery is the third book in the Col Sec series, in it we see the return of Kurt Stryder as he is plunged into a situation he neither expected nor wanted but he learns could be critical to the safety of the Treaty between the Confederation and the Alliance. We see the introduction of a new set of characters to the roster in the Wildfire Team, who are also thrown into the mix. We see secrets and intrigues unearthed that should never be known while Kurt and the Wildfire Team fight to survive on an alien landcape so dangerous it had been categorised as a Forbidden World.
Will Kurt and his new friends survive and keep the Treaty intact or will the galaxy be engulfed in a catastrophic conflict once more?
All these questions and more will be answered when Discovery is published, soon.
That’s all for now,
See you soon
