Father’s Day.

Hi there,

hope everyone had as pleasant father’s day as I had today, I visited my daughter’s for a beautiful lunch during which time I saw how close to becoming a mother she is. Her due date is 26 June and she is just about ready to pop, I can’t wait, and I know her and her partner both feel the same.

Later today I nipped in for a quick visit to see my mother and then later I popped over to see my nephew whose birthday it is and now I’m back at home getting ready for my last week at work before my annual weeks holiday.

Hope you are all okay and again have had as much fun as I have today,

See you all soon,

Jan.

Another Outlet.

Hi there,

I was checking the Indiereads.net site where my interview is due to be posted at the end of June early today and saw an ad for Barnes and Noble so on a whim I thought I’d check it out. It appears that my first book in the Col Sec series, RONIN, A Kurt Stryder Adventure is also available from them.

That’s another outlet that you can buy the book from, so that’s 9 sellers on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Barnes and Noble too. Seeing as how Fathers Day is tomorrow here in the UK I think the book would make an ideal gift for any dad and now you can get it almost anywhere.

Happy reading guys,

see you soon,

Jan.

Third Installment

Hi there,

I thought I’d just drop by to tell you how well things are going in the Col Sec universe.

OMEGA, the second in the series will feature Matt Hawk, a character we met and who took an integral role in the first book, RONIN. This time the lead character, Matt Hawk, an agent for Col Sec’s Intelligence Division is tasked with a mission to capture a terrorist at the start of the book. This turns into a desperate battle against an enemy who has infiltrated the deepest recesses of the Colonial Confederation. The enemy, a terrorist group known as OMEGA attacks the very heart of the Confederation on Earth in a vicious strike that devastates an entire city. The battle rages on into space then returns to Earth where Matt Hawk learns the truth about OMEGA in a final confrontation that could cripple the entire Confederation and all it stands for.

How does that sound guys, interesting enough for you to want to know more?

Well it won’t be long before it’s ready for publishing. The editing phase will be completed shortly and the artist who did the wonderful job on RONIN is hard at work on ideas for this one. I’ve seen a preliminary idea and it’s awesome, you’ll be amazed, trust me.

While all this is going on I’m hard at work on the third installment, tentatively entitled DISCOVERY, although that could change or be expanded, I haven’t quite decided just yet. This time the heroes from the first two books, both Kurt Stryder and Matt Hawk appear. A secret is revealed that, should it get out would devastate the entire galaxy. The repercussions from this could rip both the Colonial Confederation and the Elysium Alliance apart.

That’s a small taster of what’s to come people, great things I can assure you so stay around, the fun is just starting.

See you soon,

Jan.

Author Interview.

Hi there,

I recently learned of a website dedicated to independent authors that helps to publicise their works by interviewing them, giving them more exposure. I contacted them hoping for a chance to publicise Ronin and any further works in the Col Sec series. Imagine the surprise I felt when I was accepted. I was amazed that they would even consider interviewing me for an article in their website. A series of questions was emailed to me for my response which I dutifully filled out to the best of my ability keeping the answers honest and as professional as possible then sent them back.

The interview is due to be posted, so I’ve been informed by the owner of the website at the end of June so please keep an eye out for it. The website is Indiereads.net and, hopefully I can reach a wider audience through this exposure and I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Shawn Graham for his help.

See you soon,

Jan.

Deadlines!

Hi there,

it’s been a while since I last posted and that’s been due to work commitments, a certain amount of social activity and working on the third book in the Col Sec series.

The second book, entitled Omega, is in the editing phase and will soon be ready for publication. I have tentatively set a deadline for publication of mid July and I hope everything will be in place so that I can fulfill that promise, although ‘promise’ is probably the wrong word as so many things can go wrong to delay that expectation, so it’s best I just say that I hope to deliver on that forecast.

Everyone concerned with the other aspects of the process is working extremely hard to get this project off the ground and on to the Amazon websites and I’m looking forward to it immensely. My expectations are high and I just hope I don’t disappoint any readers.

I’ll keep you all updated on the progress and hopefully Omega will be available to you all.

See you soon,

Jan.
